Who runs Northhome

Northhome is a private, non-commercial application run by Sebastian Münz for his own use. It has exactly one user, the owner. There are no other accounts, no sign-up and no customers. Contact: hello@northhome.dev.

Google user data the application accesses

Only when the owner connects his own Google account, and only with these permissions:

How the data is used

The data is used only to provide these planning features to the owner. It is not used for advertising, profiling or analytics, it is not sold, and it is not sent to any AI service or other third party. Nobody other than the owner reads it.

Where the data is kept

Planned sessions and imported tasks are stored in the application's own database on infrastructure controlled by the owner, together with encrypted backups that only the owner can open. Calendar events stay in Google Calendar. The Google access token is stored in a file readable only by the application. The online version of the application sits behind a login that only the owner can pass, and uses Cloudflare to deliver and protect the connection.

Sharing

Google user data is not shared with anyone. Infrastructure providers needed to run the application, such as the network and hosting providers, handle data only as part of delivering the service.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while the owner uses the application and can be deleted by the owner at any time. The owner can withdraw Google access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; the stored access token then stops working, and the owner deletes it.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Northhome's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
